For 47 years, the Claflin Booster Club had a fundraising breakfast on the opening day of pheasant season.  While the fundraiser had continued to be successful, the Booster Club had dwindled to only three members.  Rather than see the event end, the remaining members of the Boosters asked the Lions to take over the event.

$1,734.00 was collected at the door.  Expenses for the Breakfast were only $445.51.  That means the Lions earned $988.49 to spend on worthwhile community projects.
