The festival will open Friday, March 13 and feature the jazz/blues singer, James Van Buren and The Group, from Denver, Colorado.
The quartet of musicians create a mood reminiscent of the Thirties and Forties to back up song stylist, James Van Buren. Admission Friday night will be $5.00 for adults and $3.00 for students.
The 312 U.S. Army Jazz Band, along with the Great Bend High School Panther Jazz Band will perform, Saturday, March 14. The Army Jazz Band members will also conduct a clinic for interested music students from area schools on Saturday afternoon at Great Bend High School. There is no admission for the Saturday concert and clinic.
